Pupper Builders is a follow up to the much loved Pupper Pirates. Now that Captain Woofers have defeated the evil cats it is time to rebuild his home.
For this assignment, we had to make a game that relied heavily on threads. The game needed to have resources like gold mines and some kind of workers. We had 2 weeks to make the game.
Because everything was running in threads, we had to be careful to avoid things like race conditions, livelocks, deadlocks, etc.
Even though threading is more complicated and time-consuming, it is well worth using because of the huge performance boost it provides.
The game was made in Windows Forms with a modified version of the framework we build for Pupper Pirates.
